With the SPOT Satellite Messenger, you and your loved ones
have peace of mind knowing help is always within reach.
SPOT is the only device of its kind, using the GPS
satellite network to acquire its coordinates, and then
sending its location with a link to Google Maps and
a pre-programmed message via a commercial satellite
network. And unlike Personal Locator Beacons, SPOT does
more than just call for help. Tracking your progress,
checking in with loved ones, and non-emergency assistance
are also available, all at the push of a button. And
because it uses 100% satellite technology, SPOT works
around the world even where cell phones don't.

SPOT works around the world, includign virtually all
of the continental United States, Canada, Mexico,
Europe and Australia, portions of South America,
Northern Africa and North Eastern Asia, and hundreds
or thousands of miles off-shore of these areas.

exact location.
CHECK IN - Let contacts know where you are and that
you're okay.
TRACK PROGRESS - Send and save your location and allow
contacts to track your progress using your password and
Google Maps.
ASK FOR HELP - Request help from friends and family at
your exact location.
ALERT 9-1-1: Use this function In the event of a life
threatening or other critical emergency to notify
emergency services of your exact location and that you
need assistance. The GEOS International Emergency Response
Center alerts the appropriate agencies worldwide - for
example contacting 9-1-1 responders in North America and
1-1-2 responders in Europe.
How It Works:
Once activated, SPOT will acquire its exact coordinates
from the GPS network, and send that location along with a
distress message to a GEOS International Emergency
Response Center every five minutes until cancelled. The
Emergency Response Center notifies the appropriate
emergency responders based on your location and personal
information which may include local police, highway patrol,
the Coast Guard, our country's embassy or consulate, or
other emergency response or search and rescue teams as
well as notifying your emergency contact person(s) about
the receipt of a distress signal.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Even if SPOT cannot acquire its location from the GPS network
it will still attempt to send a distress signal without
exact location to the Emergency Response Center, which
will still notify your contacts of the signal and continue
to monitor the network for further messages.
SPOT is designed for maximum reliability. Spot
performs a self-diagnostic test each time it is powered on.
Additionally, Spot strongly recommends that you send and
verify an OK/Check message each time before use. This
allows you to evaluate your entire messaging system,
from the operational condition of the messenger to the
readiness of those you've chosen to notify of your
messages.
With a $99.00 Per Year "service fee," but monthly and
multi-year options will purportedly be available soon.

All returns must be authorized by an employee of California Sport Touring, Inc. and accompanied by a copy of the original purchase receipt or web purchase confirmation. NOTE: Authorized returns will be issued a return authorization number which must be clearly written on the outside of the return package(s) and on your included paperwork.
Please include a note explaining the reason for the return.
We cannot accept returns of certain items, including: any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery - any item such as windshields, books, manuals, CD's, VHS tapes, etc. that have their original protective plastic wrap removed - any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts - any product missing it's serial number or UPC - any items that are in sealed packages and the package
seal has been broken.
Returned items are subject to a 15% restocking fee with a minimum fee of $7.50. We will waive the restocking fee and pay for the applicable shipping if we made an error in filling your order or you received a defective product - defective products will be repaired or replaced according to manufacturers policies.
All returned/exchanged items must be in new and unused condition with all original packaging material. Items must be sent back to our store at 636 Alfred Nobel Drive, Hercules, CA 94547.
The issuance of a return authorization number does not
automatically assure that a credit will be issued.
Items not meeting these requirements will be returned to
the customer and no exchange or refund will be issued.
RETURNING A GIFT? If the item you are returning
was not designated as a gift when purchased or if it was
not shipped directly to you, the refund will be issued to
the gift giver.If you used a gift certificate to pay for all or part of an item you want to return, that part of
your refund will be credited to your account for use on
a future purchase. Please note, the original expiration
date will still apply. If you return an order that was
placed using a promotional certificate or discount,
you will not be refunded for the amount of the promotional
offer, as these discounts were deducted from the original
purchase amount. If you return an item that was marked as
a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you from
California Sport Touring, you will receive a refund for
the value of your return in the form of a check. The refund will be mailed to you at the same address to which
the order was shipped.
